Dear Park Avenue Community,

Welcome to Park Avenue School! It is with honor and excitement that I step into the role of Interim Principal. I have worked in education for more than 10 years, including as a special education teacher across a variety of settings in grades PK–6. Most recently, I served as the Districtwide RTI Coordinator, a role in which I worked closely with the faculty and staff at Park Avenue to help ensure quality instruction for all students.

Being part of the North Bellmore community these past few years has been a pleasure, and in joining Park Avenue, I have come to understand what Park Pride truly means. This school has a long-standing tradition of being a warm, nurturing and challenging place where children grow into passionate learners with the courage and skills to lead their lives with integrity, while contributing to our global community with creativity and compassion. I am committed to building on that foundation together with all of you.

At Park Avenue, a culture of belonging, high expectations and genuine care for children will remain at the center of everything we do this year. I look forward to getting to know our students, families and staff in the months ahead, and I encourage you to reach out, stop by or say hello at drop-off. Building strong relationships with our families is one of the things I value most, and I am eager to begin that work with all of you.
